100+ Eco Friendly Products to live a Plastic Free, Sustainable and Zer

Are you just starting out on cutting down on plastic in your life or have you been living sustainably for a while?
Even though I have been on a zero waste journey for quite a while, I am always looking for new eco-friendly products that are alternatives to plastic, especially at the beginning of the year when we always do our best to pledge a Veganuary commitment, choosing vegan products, or during Plastic Free July which is a month each year to celebrate and embrace living without plastic.

But to be honest every day is the perfect day to start a sustainable lifestyle and with low waste, or to add a new change to what we are already doing.

So I have put together the ultimate list of all the products that can help each and every one of us to ditch single use plastic, embrace organic natural products made in the UK, and ultimately save the planet!

From natural deodorant to refillable water bottle, from charcoal toothpaste to beeswax wraps, bamboo toothbrush to vegan toiletries, discover the best plastic free and eco-friendly products to bring along your sustainable journey!

1. Bamboo Toothbrush

Each day, several times a day: billions of us are united daily by the common routine of brushing our teeth. A simple, unassuming ritual that we barely ever think may have any impact outside our homes.Yet it is estimated that in the UK alone, more than 250 million toothbrushes are used every year.

That’s why changing to bamboo toothbrushes can stop all millions of plastic toothbrushes ending in landfills.

2. Cotton Kitchen Sponge

Cotton sponges are the perfect eco-friendly alternative to plastic kitchen sponges, they are made with GOTS certified cotton (organic and grown without the use of pesticides), jute fabric and bamboo filling.

The organic cotton side, is perfect for more delicate crockery, or to wipe kitchen counters, tables and smooth surfaces while the sturdy jute side is a great substitute for a brillo sponge.

3. Reusable Bamboo Coffee Cup

Do you, like me, tend to make your coffee but then get busy with all sorts of things and end up with a cold cup of coffee (or tea) most of the time? Using an insulated coffee mug is the best solution for this, and it’s great for takeaway coffees too to avoid disposable coffee cups.

There are a lot of coffee mugs on the market now all claiming to be sustainable, however some of them are made with materials that re not exactly eco-friendly, so choosing a stainless steel one with bamboo casing is a much better and sustainable option.
